CAB’s Best Pharmacy Buys

We love a beauty bargain – especially when you find out you can’t live without them after the first use! Here’s our current favourite makeup and skincare finds that really work and keep your purse happy!…

Astral Soft – Face and Body Moisturiser – with Aloe Vera and Vitamin E

£2.99 for 100ml – currently on offer in Superdrugs

Why buy – as a multi-tasker it sinks in lovely on either face or body, but best of all it’s a great prep product prior to applying make-up. It’s not too heavy and it makes your skin glow underneath foundation.

Rimmel – Match Perfection 2in1 Skintone Adapting Concealer and Highlighter

7ml for £5.99 – available in Boots

Why buy – great coverage and blends in well – what more could you ask for from a concealer!

Garnier – On The Go Size Micellar Cleansing Water

125ml for £1.99 – available in Boots

Why buy – as a budget buy alternative to Bioderma this would be my first choice. Its perfect size for on the go, holidays etc. but I use this specifically for any make-up mishaps – a perfect make-up kit essential.

Bourjois – Healthy Balance Matte Finish Compact Powder

£8.99 – available in Boots

Why buy – this is the most expensive out of all of the above but I have to say this is probably my ‘can’t live without’ product if I really had to choose one. It provides a great finish on the skin – the consistency of this product is fine but the coverage is perfect to lock in foundation. The only downside is the colour range but Vanille works really well for my fair skin. Even if I wanted to skip foundation and keep it light this would still give me a good finish. Love, love love!

We’d love to hear your budget beauty buys, or if you’ve tried any of these and love them as much as we do! Beauty knowledge is the best knowledge ;-).

Jo xoxo
